Thought
Gag me, some of you posters are so politically correct, so artificial, that you cannot even read the gist of something without getting your panties in a wad. I spoke of "what passes" for black culture. I am an equal opportunity racist. I don't like "red neck" culture either. I don't particularly like Moslem culture (at least as it'd portrayed in the media), and most of all I wouldn't care to hang around a country club with leaders of industry. I don't hate anyone in particular, not a red neck, or a black man, nor a Muslim, nor a Wall Street crook. I just have no desire to embrace the stereotype - even if it is politically correct. I was bored, had the flu, and watched Barkley being interviewed on CNN and thought that his comments were racist, which led to my original post. What did it reveal? Several responses from people so politically correct that they cannot tell the truth even in a semi anonymous forum. Even the Pope, Billy Graham and Sister Theresa had to wrestle with being human. However, this board has a much superior brand of Christian. We Baptist are simply the finest of people. -
It has nothing to do with PC, mes. It has to do that not all of us give any thought to a person's race. If you can't accept that, then you do have an issue of your own. Of course we have eyes and can see the level of melanin in someone's skin. But that doesn't mean it plays into any decision about voting. Yes, there are racists of all colors. So what?

It demeans the oath of office for our presidency. -
You must be a racist against the Kryptonian race. Your avatar shows you are for that pretender, The Batman! -

Also, you said you were not going to post on this thread anymore, but here you are.

Superman Vs. Batman...
Golly Gee....
Give me CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!
BTW, I am not a racist... but won't vote for Obama... I would for Alan Keyes though.
Voting for someone based on race, may not be racist... but it is stupid. -
He left off blondes... and soprannos... or soprannos that are blonde.... -

German-Irish-Scotish American
I believe it is racism. For a person of any color to come out and say they are voting for someone because of their color is clearly racism.
I took offense on super Tuesday when they were showing stats on Fox News and they stated that African Americans voted this way and Hispanics voted this way and then said WHITES voted this way. Why am I not a German-Irish-Scotish American? -

Truth
Sopranett, even Billy Graham, caught on tape advising Nixon about not trusting the "Jews". Had to face up to it. I don't think Mr. Graham ever discriminated against anyone in his life and by all accounts he is a fine Christian. The whole point about being racist is to overcome that proclivity and let the higher elements of human existence guide you. I hope to reach the lofty heights you've apparently already arrived at. I'm still down here with Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell (he never discriminated against anyone either), and at least one Apostle. And all the other truthful Christians that ever lived. Honestly, I don't think I've ever discriminated against anyone, at least knowingly. Best regards and have a great day. -
This thread degenerated fast and I am closing it per the OP's request.
