Then they shouldn't come. Period. 32 states are now refusing them. A couple states are talking about using the national guard if anyone tries to force them on them. People are serious about this. This whole deal is making the Obama look bad not only at home but abroad as well.
You either do not understand what it means to handle scripture in context or you are intentionally mishandling it to serve the purposes of your agenda.
Show me a passage of scripture where Jesus said to take in refugees with terrorists intermingled with them? More than 70% of these so called refugees are young makes who are in good health and fighting age. 70%. Sorry but your misuse of scripture doesn't hold water.
How exactly is accepting refugees making Obama look bad abroad?
I pretty much see that Europe, Turkey and Jordan are looking at the responses of the southern states here and rolling their eyes.
If the National Guard starts rounding up Syrian refugees Obama won't be the one looking bad.
If we don't take ANY refugees it becomes a great recruiting tool for ISIS. They can then use our refusal to help downtrodden Muslims as a
(propagandized) example of the hatred the West and the US has toward all Muslims.
People would have to be incredibly dense to not understand how much ISIS is counting on the response of these southern states.
It plays perfectly to their narrative and further validates their claims to those on the fence back in the middle east.
Europe seems to get this but maybe that is because they understand the situation a little bit better.
Most European countries are already living with many large population groups of Muslims and it has been normal for years.
Arizona, Maine, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Idaho....how do we count Maryland, they stayed in the Union after all.
That's the part of this conversation you want to insert yourself in?
Not the whole underlying issue? I misspoke and now you would like me to place the states in their correct allegiance in the Civil War?
Hey, I have no idea why you blamed this thing on the south, in two different posts, when it obviously spans more than just southern states. Maybe you were trying to minimize these nationwide feelings by claiming it's merely localized. But I don't know, only you do.
