It's illogical to say that because one has not seen a limb regenerated, therefore it can not happen.
But beyond that, their arguments are completely spurious because they set up strawmen and knock them down. For example, on their web site they list a bunch of reasons that they think that Jesus garaunteed healing through prayer, but that is not the Biblical teaching on healing or prayer. They cite the claims of faith healers and find fault against the entire Christian Church through the statements of a few heretics.
Again, their's nothing rational or logical about their arguments. -

The man who had his ear cut off, and was healed, was arresting Jesus. I didn't know that servants had the power of arrest, but hey, you learn sumpthin everyday. The point is, he had his ear cut off, and he was healed. God healed an amputee.
Can we agree on that ? -

It's interesting they spend so much time trying to sway people away from God
-
Ok. We were all wrong.
Jhn 18:10 Simon Peter then, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's slave, and cut off his right ear; and the slave's name was Malchus.
Just had to clear that up.
And yes, Jesus healed it. -
Yes.......

Why didn't God heal Moses' stammering ? Paul's sight ? Did he ever replace Adam's rib ?

With the comment... "...the same lame arguments", in a thread on amputees,
the comment, "I have not heard about a Roman soldier's ear", fit right in.
Love this thread! What a hoot!
I didn't listen to the whole video. ...didn't have too, it's author ignores the different ways God works in individual lives.

mmmm. the surgeon put the leg back on. the surgeon stopped the bleeding.
comin at ya like a devil's advocate here..
i mean... c'mon. you really think an atheist is gonna believe you that God healed the amputee in the operation room while the surgeon put the guys leg back on?
give me a break. -
watch the whole video then come back.
listen to both sides of the story at least rather than running in 2D.

Why God won't heal amputees
I have to admit I did not watch the video. Gekko, please cut me some slack. I have dial-up and have a life so it would have taken me until Christmas to watch it.
The main question posed was: why won't God heal amputees.
It is most likely that Jesus made people with fingers get them back when he healed lepers. Most lepers lose their fingers as the disease progresses.
With that said, taking the time to argue if he did or not is not the most important issue. The real question is: could he? I say definitely yes. That begs the next question: why do we not see these types of healing happening.
I would like to get peole thinking about the issue of faith healing.
It is an important thing to get a grasp on in today's mixed up theological world. In my opinion this is one of the most crucial issues facing the church today because it deals with the foundation of Christianity - faith.
I'll keep my two cents in my pocket for now. -

Several times Jesus and other Christians said:
"your faith has made you whole*"
* brought your daughter to life, cured your
paraletic friend, etc.
I'm still looking for a place in the scripture
that says 'your lack of faith kept you sick'.
Here is what you fave with no faith: fear:
Mar 4:40 (Geneva Bible, 1599 Edition):
Then he saide vnto them,
Why are ye so fearefull?
how is it that ye haue no faith? -
