As usual, the Communist News Network (CNN) is presenting their slanted view of the news (in this new poll), but we can get the word out to Christians and participate in the vote, which will keep CNN from using this poll to 'prove' that moral, traditional, Christian family values are an antique relic.

Sorry to butt in, but even CNN acknowledges that the poll is not scientific and thus cannot be used to prove anything.

CNN is th eworst cable news ever.

Fox News is the best at reporting fairly. The Dems cant stand them b/c they dont blast President Bush every chance they get.

A referance to CNN because of it's leftist leanings in it's reporting. The joke was in the Clinton years that it was the Clinton News Network. Now many refer to FOX NEWS as GOP TV because it is on a whole more favorable to Republicans than Democrats. :D Personaly I think MSNBC is the most balanced though I like FOX NEWS the best and has turned back the leftist leanings that were so prominent in news years ago while CNN seems liberal and stagnant.

I agree. As lousy as it may be, I'd even take MSNBC over CNN.

I live in two houses (which is why my profile lists two different locations) and the cable sercvice at the Md home only has CNN so when I come home, I never know what's going on.

Speaking of MSNBC, didn't Chris Matthews sometimes fill in for Rush Limbaugh on the radio?!?

The Fox story on gay marriage is much more liberal than the CNN one. I take it you support the Fox account?

So Sue, for CNN to ask one question makes them slanted. Give me a break!

We get CNN over here. It doesn't seem to be that left-leaning, but neither does it seem to have much news of note on it.

Sounds to me a bit like Norman Tebbit (Conservative politician) calling the BBC the "Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation" back in the 80s.

That's true, Matt. But what is left-leaning in the UK these days, anyway?

Remember, Tony Blair is a member of the Labour Party! :D ;)

(I just LOVE reminding Matt about that!)

Actually, Mozier, I didn't vote for 'new' Labour precisely for that reason. I voted Liberal Democrat - they're the only decent left-of-centre party we have, unless 'old' Labour take the party back from Blairovitch (but, then again, 'old' Labour were always a bit too far left for me)

The basic point that Tebbit unwittingly exposed is that 'communist' (or 'bolshevik') in his case = "anyone who is not as conservative as me", the same as 'fascist' or 'nazi' = "anyone who is not as left-wing as me"

    Yours in Christ
