Hi all, its been several years since I've been on the board but I think I'm back. Getting tired of Facebook if you know what I mean.

Any way I have a question for you all. Do any of you witness to total strangers in public places? I feel the Holy Spirit nudging me to do so. I'm confident in doing so but just wanted to hear from dedicated Baptists on the subject. I trust God will give me the words to say but looking for words of wisdom, thanks.

    Good morning!

Yes, every chance i get. I rely upon the Holy Spirit of God to empower me to be bold. I usually ask them "if they were to die tonight, would they go to heaven or hell?" And then engage according their response. My Goal is to fully explain the Gospel and even get them to respond. And i would like to emphasize...this is done by the Power of the Holy Spirit and faith that God's Word will work powerfully in their heart and mind. May God fill you with His Holy Spirit!

That is the normal way the lord has used me until now, as He brings a heavy conviction upon me to start to share Jesus with someone else, sometimes in places and time not really convenient for me. those times remind me that I am on His schedule, and that He is not on mine!

I like the way you stated that Yeshua. I feel the same about conviction. Should we try to witness even if we don't feel that conviction?

Yes, but it just seems that God will direct that God ordained time if we are close to Him and walking with Him.
