Who's David Lipscomb? Is he an Apostle for Jesus Christ? I would not base my beliefs or actions upon anyone except for those God chose to speak for Him as Scripture. I don't think at the Judgment Seat of Christ we will be hearing from Christ "well Lipscomb did say". But we may hear Jesus say "well, Paul did say, Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

The main reason there is a statute of limitations is because with the passing of much time, it becomes impossible to defend onesself.

 

I fully support a man's right to defend himself. But I have compassion for young women abused by predators and understand their initial silence.

 

I also understand people lie. My career in law enforcement led me to believe EVERYONE is lying until proven otherwise.

I'm sure you came across those telling the truth also. What does your gut tell in this case about both the accusers and Roy Moore? I know you don't know, just curious what you're instincts tell you.

 

Now you're defensive and lashing out. The correct response is, "I misspoke, let me clarify....." That would be the grown up thing to do. Or you can dig in. You pick.

 

The timing suggests they are not being fully truthful. I came across plenty telling the truth. I at all times kept in mind that the accuser, not the accused, had the burden of proof. The accused has no burden to prove innocence.

 

Whether true or not the DIMS are getting their desired response with these "perfectly timed" accusations!
The rhinos almost immediately jumped on the bandwagon for Moore to remove himself from the race, which makes me wonder(?) how much, if any, they contributed to this political fiasco!!

"initial silence" and I'm speaking generally. I get the frustration of accusations occurring years later to spoil elections. But I also get the fear some women feel which compels them not to speak out initially.
