Our youth programs have been doing A LOT of teaching, and leaving VERY LITTLE time for the youth to WORSHIP THE LORD.
That has to stop! How does your church allow the youth to Worship?
Do they have their own service?
What makes the youth Worship service different?
How have you gotten the your youth involved in Worship?
Any ideas would be a big help.

No youth service here, but they do get the chance to worship on their own in their sunday school time. What we've found is that many of our youth have been willing to take on greater responsibilities in leading worship for the entire congregation, which gives them a chance to serve and blesses the rest of us while helping involve the youth and keep our worship fresh. In fact, periodically the youth have taken responsibility for the worship of an entire service! Of course, none of this happened overnight, but gradually built from first having them participate in prayer and the reading of scripture and a willingness to entrust parts of the service to the more spiritually mature among them.

Our Wednesday Night service has morphed over the years into a full-fledged worship service.
Our students, under my mentorship, are completely in charge of music and testimonies. I have other college-aged leaders that are in charge of a drama team, creative worship team, and a percussion team that lead from time to time.
Now, I'm quite possessive of my sermon time on Wednesdays. I spend as much time on that as most pastors do on their Sunday morning sermons.
An encouragement: Keep finding that time for quality teaching to happen. But I applaud you for looking for opportunities to worship together. -
