Yea, I like that! This whole pattern must have started with Cain killing his brother Abel, when Cain feels unworthy and unloved by God. The “evil one” must always be killed so the “I” can be worthy, loved, moral.

Not being married is not the problem. The fact is, many married men who have the word "Reverend" before their names continue to commit the sin of adultery and yes, homosexual pedophilia.

What happened in the Catholic Church way back in the 60's is that there was a poor discernment process on the part of the individual who wanted to be a priest and the church itself. Now there is a very rigorous screening process that is being followed and the great majority of new priests are not of that ilk. And when something does happen, it is not being covered up anymore, there is no moving these guilty priests to new parishes and the Bishops are informing the proper civil authorities.

But this is bad publicity for the RCC. They need a publicity campaign.

I do. This a Church of over a billion souls and thousands and thousands of clergy. The percentage of pedophile priests is 0.03%. This is what I've been reading by non-Catholic sources.. That number is much higher among Evangelicals...like 11% and up. Might want to get off your high horse. We had a child molesting youth pastor at the local Christian and Missionary Alliance church in the town I just moved from. The leadership still defending him as was the case in the Baptist church I used to attend, so don't tell me you just purge your diddlers from your congregations and move on. I provided plenty of documentation of evangelical sex scandals and cover ups. You will ignore that though because of your seething hatred of Catholics made very clear in your many post regarding the Church over the years. Sad!

I have known an evil priest & many holy priests, I can tell you this, no evil priest affects my faith now, my focus is on Jesus. I’ll be a practicing Catholic .Christian until I die.

Still defending him even after his conviction?

Yep, and then Jesus will show you the truth about the RCC traditions.

That’s your individual choice Walter. One of those Priests was Robert Caparelli, we called him Father Cappy. He has the distinction of being the biggest predator in Pennsylvania. When we boys played hoops on a alleyway B-ball hoop this guy would come over in his black Lincoln town car and attempt to strike up conversations... I didn’t know his reputation but mom always warned me to stay from strangers and this guy was certainly strange.

Cappy ended up in prison and died there of aids... he had the disease and knew it and still propositioned boys!

Walter, something must be done. I pray that Pope Frank changes the marital restrictions.

Jesus screamed that Hios Gosd had forsaken him, as he at that moment was the sin bearer, receiving the full wrath of God!

No He did not. He referenced something from the OT... I think it was from Isiah. In other words, He was forfulling a prophesy.

Seriously! You demanding a bible verse as if that would change your mind? Your mind is settled doctrine according to the way the RCC has told you you shall think. Bible verses are meaningless, it is what the RCC says, right? At least be honest about it, admit it.

And maybe Jesus will enlighten you about how you got it wrong as you interpreted the Scriptures.

I do not interpret the Scriptures. Scripture needs no interpreter, Scripture speaks with clarity as to exactly what God wants us to know and how much God wants us to know. Scripture interprets (clarifies) Scripture. Do not go beyond what is written.

I don't believe God poured out His wrath on Jesus at the cross. I do believe the wrath of God was satisfied (that is the wrath to come for all sinners) for those who believe on the Son of God.

Create a Thread on this Wrath of God topic, it would be a good subject to explore.
