If you were a Pastor, or if you are a Pastor, would you put a man up to preach at your church that has been married before or has two living wives? Why or why not?
Would you?

What do you mean? Married before?
And what?
No longer married? Divorced or widower?
Or has just been married?
I think every pastor I have known has been married.
What is your point? -
Is he the husband of one wife? My point, to discover others opinions on the matter.

Did you add the two living wives part? I didn't see that at first.
In general I am against it. However I do not see it as a cut and dried case.
I know of a pastor that was married and divorced very young before he was saved.
I believe the husband of one wife is talking about polygamy.
That said I don't believe a divorced wife can typically be considered blameless or to rule his own house well.
So while I do not believe that a past divorce is an automatic disqualification, I do believe that a divorced man will rarely be qualified for the ministry. -
