The CEO of Levi’s horrified his hygienic customers this week with his nose-hair-curling announcement that he doens’t [sic] wash his pants.

Ever.

“These jeans are maybe a year old and have yet to see a washing machine,” Chip Bergh said of his denim trousers at a sustainability conference in California

And Ersin Akarlilar, CEO of Mavi jeans, recommends freezing jeans — because the chill kills bacteria, which cause odors when they digest dirt and whatever else ends up on a pair of jeans.

Funny thing is that a typical freezer does not get to a temperature that can kill bacteria. So he's just trying to convince himself that it's OK to be lazy.
