Whatever. Trump read the speech and approved of it. So I would say letting Cruz speak was a lack of judgment on Mr. Trump (or a cynical manipulation of the delegates, take your pick.)

Trump did not tell the crowd to boo.

No that is a fact. Trump choose when they would boo and he chose the line of conscience, freedom, and Constitution. you cannot change that fact more matter how hard you spin it.
What more did he want, Cruz congratulated him on winning, called for party unity, and told people no to stay home, and he has since asked people not to write him in. Just because he did not bow down and kiss the ring doesn't mean he was being unsupportive.

No Cruz pulled the mask off of Trump's party with that one line and there is no backtracking from that.

I see it as Trump letting Ted Cruz have his say. Trump beat him in the primaries, and allowed Cruz to speak and say whatever was on his mind. I'd say that was generous.

so I will say this for the GOP and Trump, they have done an absolutely fantastic job in reflecting all the anger at the establishment back toward the grassroots. They made sure it was loud and clear that grassroots Conservatives had no place in their party. Anyone that loves freedom or the Constitution must look elsewhere.

Trump is not establishment. Facts are facts. I won't vote for him but he is being unjustly condemned in many areas.

Nope he is not. He is neither conservative nor Liberal. He is neither Republican nor Democrat. He is an opportunist. He looks for the best opportunity to fill up his pocket. There is plenty of room to criticize him. If you are going to do it know what you are talking about. Staking up a bunch of facts and then saying they mean this is not the way to do it. The stacked facts can mean a bunch of things not just what you want them too.

After this convention of course Trump is establishment. It is the party of Trump now. That's why they worked so hard to destroy any grassroots effort at the convention. Facts are Facts.

No he is not. He would not have fought so hard against the grassroots at the convention. It's Trump's party now and the grassroots is the new public enemy number 1. Since being the nominee he has spent more time attacking Cruz and the grassroots Conservatives than he has Hilary and the Dems. He is to busy trying to court the Dems to attack them.
