Did you see this story on network news. There is a man who blieves that there is oil to be found in Iseral. The ZION OIL COMPANY is seeking to do just that. There key verse is Deut 33:24. Has anyone else heard about this? If it is true and he finds "much" oil, what could this mean?

Zion Oil is owned by private U.S. investors , it would be interesting to see who is on that board and review their past expierences in the oil business. It almost looks like Harken's twin in the way that they put out their message.

Heard about a similar scam 20 years ago. The claim was that the oil was very deep.

By the way, would like a "young earth" person explain how oil got into very deep pools. God put it there during the creation?

Mapping the tribes' biblical territory indeed shows that Asher's area resembles a giant foot "dipped" into the top, or "crown" area of the land of Joseph's son, Manasseh.

It means that Israel will be an oil producing nation. Nothing more or less. If there's oil there, great for them. If there's not, so be it. I think the man is chasing a pipe dream personally, like those who occaisionally claim they can make an auto engine that runs off water, but he's certainly welcome to look.
