Acts 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

The ESV is essentially the Revised Standard Version tweaked a bit for evangelicals.

Many preachers denounced the RSV as a work of the Devil when the National Council of Churches introduced it in the mid twentieth cenury.

Some Fundamentalists preachers burned the RSV in public. They apparently thought they were doing something godly. At least they didn't attempt to burn the translators!

Are you saying that his testimony did not show him by his own statement (v 37)? Are you saying that he got saved by baptizing without v 37?

See verse 36 -- The Ethiopian eunuch asked Philip the question THEN ESV omitted verse 37 -- WHERE IS Philip's ANSWER to his question???

You like beatings, don't you?

    Your exact words were-

So you implied that the ESV translators were Alexandrian Gnostics.

And you still have no proof as the old thread shows.

Am I saved when someone asks me if I believe or is it at the time when I believe?

Nowhere in verses 26 -39 said, "by grace through faith." Where did you get that phrase on vv 26 - 39?

Wrong again! I did not say that they were Alexandrian Gnostics. I said, "Alexandrian Gnostics' interest." They FOLLOWED Alexandrian Gnostic's interest!

So, I take it that unless you are using the KJV, you can't use Scripture to back up Scripture.

Nice double standard. I'm sure it serves you well as you tilt at windmills.

And you rejected the idea of proving Scripture through other Scripture.

    Intellectually dishonest.

Of course, you probably know that.

That's what the Bible teaches. Did you not know that?
