Note the wording at the end. The die has been cast: If the Supremes claim Obamacare is unconstitutional, it's not because it's unconstitutional; it's because of activist judges (same thing Obama said a month or so ago).

" Nobody was frivolous with the Constitution and the health of the American people in writing the bill."

That's a different song than what she was singing when she was pushing Obamacare down our throats...

"We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it."

I have long predicted that obamacare will be upheld by the SCOTUS. Don't forget, they had that "private" meeting with Obama before he was sworn in. And that was before he filled 2 seats with his liberal friends. IOW, the Supreme Court has lost all credibiility IMHO. Don't be surpised. Obama threatened them, publicly, remember?

And, people know people. Staffs of members of Congress know Supreme Court Clerks. The bars on K Street where after hours meets surely have had some "loose lips" after one too many. Pelosi probably has an "inside" unofficial scoop which is why she is choosing her words carefully, so as to not let the cat out of the bag. It was sooooo carefully crafted which is why per her, they had to "read the bill to see what is in it."

Pelosi is counting on the democrat campaign of intimidation against SCOTUS to be successful.

I believe parts of it will probably be struck down, but not all of it. It's a start.

    Agreed...

And once Obama is put out of office with the next election and the Republicans gain a majority in both houses...

    It can be finished.

Obama may lose, but you have not seen the end of universal health care, thank God!

No one knows what the court is going to do, strike down it all, part, or nothing. Also, it is six months until the election. No one knows who will win the Presidency or either house of Congress. Even if Republicans win all three with slim margins, overturning the law will not be as easy as one thinks.
