Simple question. It will be simple to see who got it right.

I would be extremely surprised if he does.

Why perpetuate the myth of his being a Moslem with the question.

He is a Christian and so he will take the oath on a Bible.

I am wondering who is even talking about that possibility?

Simple - to put it to rest. Some here have been quick to make this prophecy and just want to have it on record so that when he doesn't we can see the what a notion it was.

So let me get this straight. Starting a thread about something no one is even talking about is going to put it to rest? Let me give you a clue, accusing people of inappropriate criticism of the President and then committing the same behavior toward them is, to put it nicely, inconsistent.

Side note: The President believes all paths lead to heaven. Therefore based on his own words and the standards given in scripture he is lost.

"Words mean something." ~ Barak Obama

C4K and CTB are Socialists. As such, their mission is to publish as much propaganda as they can. It isn't about the quality thereof, only the volume.

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them a socialist. I usually makes them right!

I know that having the POTUS being sworn in w/ his hand on the Bible is a symbolic gesture, etc., but IMHO that's ALL it is.

While I can't say w/110% certainty that POTUS Obama IS a Christian (at least as most of us here on BB would define a "Christian"--born-again, blood-bought, child of the Father in heaven, fellow kinsman & joint-heir w/Jesus, etc., [KJVO??!!??]), on what he places his hand while being sworn in isn't as important to me as what he actually DOES while in office. (Remember "born-again" Pres. Carter [1977-81]?)

Why does it matter? The book he chooses to place his hand doesn't change the fact he's been elected, POTUS, without the limitation of having to run for another term.

Why does it matter? History is full of people taking oaths that mean nothing. Jails have many who have lied under oath.

Obviously it matters to some here because they said 4 years ago that he would and are saying now that he will. Just trying to get a consensus of our BB membership.

He probably WON'T-----but if he does---it wouldn't come as any surprise to me!!!! Takeing an oath on the koran is no different than bowing before Belzebub whos modern name is allah

No, Obama will not take the oath of office on a Koran.

No, there will not be rioting in the streets.

No, the U.N. will not confiscate our guns.

No, there will not be food shortages this summer.

No, the dollar will not collapse.

No, contrails are not biological agents that are slowly poisoning us.

This time there will be a twist: the constitutionally mandated date for the presidential swearing-in, Jan. 20, falls on a Sunday in 2013, so Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. will administer the oath to Mr. Obama privately that day at the White House, while the public ceremony, parade, and other events will be pushed back to Monday. (Chief Justice Roberts also administered a private oath to Mr. Obama in 2009, after the two men flubbed the words during the public ceremony.)

    New York Times

How are we supposed to know which book was used in a private ceremony? The more important question is will he honor the oath this time? He didn't last time.

It wasn't much work at all. You just have to know how to use the search feature to find the specific links.

I remember the prediction clearly, so I knew exactly what I was looking for.

The very last link (the one that I thoughtfully highlighted in bold) shows the prediction being made again - in a response to one of my posts:

Failed prediction from 2008 reasserted for the upcoming inauguration

Since I remember the conversations I have, I had no problem finding it to demonstrate that the claim was made again on 9/25/2012 - two months ago.

I didn't try to see if she had made the prediction to anyone else. Maybe she has, maybe she hasn't.

Actually, I took great pains to show the course of the prediction and that she very honorably admitted that she was in error when it didn't happen. That shows a level of character much higher than others with whom I have interacted on BB.

Roger was being questioned/attacked for asking the question - as if it has never come up before - and Aaron asked for links. I provided links. Then you condemn?

You need to get the beam out of your eye before you make assumptions about the motives and character of others. For one, I happen to like the person who made the prediction, even though I usually disagree with her about most things. She is a person who demonstrates humility on a consistent basis and is genuinely friendly.

The reason I posted the links is that (1) YOU requested them and (2) it is directly relevant to Roger's question this year. Roger and the one who made the prediction last time had a very lengthy series of interactions on multiple threads regarding this very issue.

    Hah!

You're making all kinds of assumptions here. I strongly oppose socialism, I have never been a supporter of Obama, and vote primarily Republican, although I'm not terribly fond of the Republican party at the moment.

If you are going to ask for evidence, then don't get upset when someone makes an attempt to assist you. That's not rational behavior.
