Disciple's album 'O God Save Us All'. Worth the buy, even if I had been planning to save that money for something else.

Years ago, Disciple played at our church. Our pastor came from across the street because he thought the building was going to fall down, it was so loud. My daughter was maybe 5 years old at the time (she's now 21 so that shows how long ago it was) and she fell asleep in the front row during the concert! The guys were laughing and saying how they don't think anyone had ever slept through their concerts before. ROTFL!!

xD I follow Disciple on Facebook. Seem like good Christian fellows. I like how they provide verse references on their list of lyrics on a lot of their songs.

I've seen lots of Christian bands in my day and these guys are the real deal. I'm not into that style of music but they absolutely love the Lord.

A very moving song by Rivka Whitten, as I pray for students before I head off. May not be able to pray with them, but I can pray FOR them.

The English translation goes...

In the darkness where everything is unknown
I face the power of sin on my own
I did not know of a place where I could go to heal my wounded soul
He said I could come into his presence without fear
Into the holy place where his mercy hovers near

I'm running, I'm running, I'm running to the mercy seat
Where Yeshua is calling me
He said his grace would cover me
it will provide my healing

Are you living where hope has not been
Lost in the curse of a lifetime of sin
Lovely illusions they never come true
I know of a place there is mercy for you
He said you could come into his presence without fear
Come running, come running, come running
To the mercy seat where Yeshua is calling...

Some songs are in English, but either way, her voice is amazing if you ever want to look her up. Sometimes you don't need to know the words to feel the spirit behind what someone is singing, you just...know!

Right now I'm listening to my husband FINALLY play piano again!! He hasn't played in way too long and is a bit rusty but he's so good and I need to encourage him to play more!!!! We had a little Keith Green, some Phil Collins, some jazz I didn't recognize and some Martin Luther. :) I think there will be some original stuff coming out of tonight as well.
