I was praying that she would recover, but that wasn't God's will.:tear:

That's really sad. I was hoping she would pull through, also. One of the most honest people on earth. I'll miss her.

"My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh."

What baloney! What place did her million$ and her jewelry come in? And I don't know what kind or how many houses and vehicles she had. Although I didn't watch anything she did on a regular basis, I remember a few years ago she was on something on TV late at night saying "There's NO SUCH THING as being OVERpaid!" (I don't know who or what the particular subject was.) She should have been asked if there's no such thing as anybody who worked for her being overpaid.

She was a monument to America's double idolatry of money and celebrity, and the days ahead are going to show it.

That's a puzzling statement that I would never have expected you to make. Did you admire her?

    Nothing like ....

Blowing your own horn? I would say nothing except for you ripping me when I say exactly what you did.

It would have been more genuine had you posted asking people to pray with you for her recovery. The trouble with being so sanctimonious is it comes back to bite you.

Still the death of any one is sad but inevitable. One last thing when you prayed, did you also pray for her salvation? I don't know if she was saved, in fact I think she was Jewish.

Sorry if you take this wrong, but you are your own worst enemy...

I feel badly for her family. It seems like she and her daughter were close and this is going to be really hard for her daughter to deal with her sudden loss. I do hope that she was saved before she died but from my understanding, she was not close to the Gospel. :(

    We can pray, Ann ....

For the family, and that facing the reality of their own mortality somehow draw them to Jesus. It is tragic how she died in suck a seemingly simple, routine procedure. One I've had several times. But, the papers I signed before the procedure did inform of complications and death. Of course we see ourselves as indestructible. Surely, it could never happen to us....

Man what on earth are you talking about? This thread was letting folks know that Joan has died and there you go again trying to create a "gotcha" moment.

I'm starting to think you need professional help.

No, I think she was among the =7 billion= that I did not pray for by name or specifics. How many of those have you prayed for in whatever way you're asking me?

She seemed to always use phrases such as "I was dying." "I wanted to die." "I could have died." "It was killing me."

Gee, I don't know, maybe because he isn't some sociopath with zero empathy.

Brother Z once accused me for posting a prayer for another person as "Trying to appear something I wasn't," evidenced by my hate of our elected potus.

I asked myself why too, and it is to appear more holier than others on the board. What he accuses others of, he is guilty of too.

    There's your "why!"

And this reconfirms that you got some serious issues. Your actions are continuously disingenuous and everybody with an ounce of sense can tell when you're trying to get that old "Atta boy" pat on the back.

Apples and oranges. But I wouldn't expect you to see that because you're on a vendetta of "well he called me out in front of everybody so I've got to keep throwing stuff at him until something sticks and I get my gotcha" moment.

Normal people often mention that they were praying for other folks. You on the other hand felt the need to post a fake prayer that was only intended to extol your own virtue.

The Holy Spirit makes this stuff clear so you can save your self a lot of time and energy and stop trying to create a "I got him now gotcha" moment for me.

All you're doing is continuing to expose of yourself what many have already figured out.:wavey:

    Oh, I see

My prayers are fake, "Thus sayeth the Zaac!" While your suggestion you prayed for Ms. Rivers was holy and righteous. Only a sociopath can make that kind of deduction, but then again, you do claim to have the mind of God, as you rip through others on this board separating the wheat from the tares, their motives from the ones you are claim to be of God while the rest of us are mere malcontents pretending to Jesus while in truth we use Him to argue our political agendas.

You are so entrenched in your own hypocracy that you can't distinguish between the sun and The SON :applause:

Tell you what start debating and stop judging and I'll cease pointing out the large pieces of timber wedged in your eyes? Tic, toc - I wait your answer ... :sleeping_2:

I said no such thing. But I don't know if you think you're dealing with a bunch of children or something. But you don't throw dog poo at folks for hours and then turn around and word a "prayer" for the whole board to read and think that anyone thinks there was anything genuine about it. This is not a novel and the characters aren't mindlessly oblivious until the author decides to give them awareness.

Then I guess the Holy Spirit has created a bunch of sociopaths. But like I've said before, stop trying so hard. When you do these things it's OBVIOUS what you're trying to do and it really makes you look like something is really wrong.

You and others stop being so nasty with anyone who doesn't agree with your politics and you won't have to worry about my righteous judgment.

But as I've said before, y'alls gripe with me is that you can't bully me into not calling your mess out as mess.
