    (CNN)Two plainclothes New York City police officers, responding to a robbery, were shot late Monday night in the Bronx -- but they are expected to survive.

    One officer, shot in the arm and lower back, was undergoing surgery early Tuesday morning. The other, shot in the chest and arm, was in stable condition.

    Yep - This was a typical shooting in the line of duty and not a targeted shooting like in Brooklyn or Florida.

    Praying that the officers make a full recovery. Also praying for de Blasio and Bratton and all the other leaders making day to day decisions for the NYPD.

    Yep. Shot in the line of duty. Doesn't suit your purpose.

    They need to get well so they can be shot the right way for the right reasons. Just because they're cops.

    I hear one of them arrested a black person yesterday. Surprised he wasn't shot for that.
