Win Worley, who looks like he really enjoys the buffet line, has his congregation recite a prayer to exorcise demons they may or may not have encountered from playing Dungeons and Dragons, and also removes any demonic curses they may have, their ancestors might have had, or any occultic curses that might visit their children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren.

He does this by taking away Satan's "legal ground". You can't do this by throwing your coat at him or blowing on him, he explains, but if you recite this prayer, you should be set free.

Yeah, he's a tough one. Tougher than a house cat.

Ah, a magical formula. Terrific. I think old scratch is more worried about your stinky coat or an evangelist's halitosis.

The demonic isn't a joke, but this preacher is.

The demonic doesn't get a hold on people just through casual association. Moreover, when someone becomes a disciple of Jesus, you are set free from demonic affliction. Baptisms in many parts of Christendom involve a renunciation of the evil one and his works as a symbolic and experiential break with the past.

Regarding his appearance, I wonder if he has Cushing's Disease. It's tough to get that enormously fat without some sort of pituitary disorder.

Well, I got my laugh of the day watching this guy. I'm curious to see the rest of the video. Much like my curiosity led me to read "Turmoil in the Toybox" and watch those interviews.

It is ironic that his solution against demonic forces (based on “legal grounds”) is essentially an incantation to invoke divine power. It is paganism under the guise of Christianity. How old is this video anyway?

Emerging victorious he will now set his sights on C.S. Lewis readers. So much work, such little time.

You'd be surprised. A lot of people do. My brother in law used to really be into it.

When I lived in Delaware, there was a store with nothing but D&D and similar games. It's been there for twenty years.

All my life, all I ever heard about it was that it was demonic, that it "opens a door to the spirit world", etc. There was even a Tom Hanks movie to convince kids that it was evil.

But, to this day, I've never heard anybody explain what's actually supposed to be bad about it.

I can't watch videos on this computer for some reason. Is it one of those "I rebuke the Devil"-type videos?

Frankly I don't have time to watch videos on my computer. Anyhow the entire idea is silly in my humble opinion!

I am glad you said that. The Dungeon's & Dragons game was once quite a tool for Satan to ensnare people in mental manipulation and demonic invasion. My fellow counselors and I have encountered quite a few of the 'monsters' that are listed and depicted in the 'D & D Monster Manual'.

Some of those 'monsters' have interesting names: Bael, Mammon, Beelzebub, Belial, etc. Hmm, where did Gary Gygax (the inventor of D & D) come up with that we wonder?

I thank God it's not popular any longer but it has been replaced by the Harry Potter and magic games in a big way. Things will only get worse until Christ comes, but that is what He told us: "As it was in the days of Noah..."

In the words of Elmer Fudd!... I would be verrrrrrrrrrry carrrrrrreful!

Acts 19:13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded... I'm only saying!.... Brother Glen

It's more popular now than it has ever been. It's just the occult witch hunt of the 80s and 90s is over, so you don't hear much about it. I started a group in Texas amongst soldiers, and had to limit how many could join our weekly sessions.

Gary Gygax was a Christian. In fact, when he heard that fellow Christians were offended at his use of demons and devils, he took them out. They were later added back in.

IT is not his Christianity that is in question. But what he produced in Dungeons and Dragons was unquestionably demonic. That fact that he named several of his 'monster's' with biblical names like "Bael", "Moloch", "Belial" and 'Beelzebub" cannot be taken lightly. For many years I collected news accounts of people who became obsessed with the game to the point of insanity and had to be institutionalized. Still others committed suicide.

About eight years ago I helped a demonized woman who was being oppressed by devils. In the middle of our counseling session she stood up and started screaming that her back was on fire. My wife quickly took her to the washroom and removed her blouse to see what was causing it. They discovered the word BAAL literally burned across her upper back just under her neck. That devil (Baal) was eventually cast out of her after her confession of sin. She has since become one of the best Christians I have ever known and is doing well and serving the Lord now. But we take the matter of demonic reality very seriously.

The truth is that only those have not been saved and indwelt by the Holy spirit can get such states, and once the Lord delivers them, it is the time for them to call upon the lord and get saved right now!

I know where you are coming from, dear Christian friend, but the truth is that Christians who get involved in dark things can do as much evil and wickedness and be controlled by Satan as those who have never known the Lord. I've seen it countless times. The important thing is to stay close the Lord so the devil cannot use us against that which is good.

It is why Paul warned believers, "Make no room (Greek: topos - room, chamber) for the devil." Eph. 4:27. The real question then is.....why would the Lord warn us like this if it were not possible to 'make room' for devils to involve themselves in our lives?:godisgood:

Real Christians can NEVER become possessed by demons, as the holy spirit is greater than satan, but if they continue to stay in rebellion and in a state of disobedience, they can start acting as if there really were!
