I find it personally insulting that you have such a low opinion of our service men and women. They aren't mindless stormtroopers but feel free to live in perpetual fear. It is extremely irritating to act like the military is this force that would all a sudden turn on its own country. Feel free to go tell SOCOM members your opinion and tell me how it turns out.

You're already up to the point now where you're relegating dissent to the margins of “wild conspiracy theory”, and the conjoining of dissent with negative images and feelings.

The mainstream media unleashed a deluge of hit pieces targeting Alex Jones and Infowars over the upcoming Jade Helm military exercise after the issue finally began to draw serious attention. So it is with ideas. Most people prefer that “harmony and unity.” They seek it.

Somewhere in their minds, there is a learned program that asks for consensus, a program that prefers consent to difference.

Dissonance (disagreement) registers as a negative reality.

What I say isn't as important as what you'll do.

1. You'll get rewarded with a feeling of pleasure for "being right".

2. You'll probably praise God that you aren't like those awful un - American "fringers" that "have no respect for authority" and worry about people's rights and stuff like that.

3. Take pleasure in the perception that you belong to the majority. (the consensus syndrome?)

4. You'll be ready with your talking points in order for dealing with any other dissenters when the next (even bigger?) training exercise takes place. It'll be that much easier after having already been trained for it this time around.

5. You'll also be a bit more comfortable with seeing figures dressed in battle fatigues strolling around town and riding around in big green armored machines on your city's streets. It'll all seem a bit more "normal".

6. On independence day you'll eat hot dogs and put a new American flag or yellow ribbon sticker on your bumper then go to the local doings to check out the latest military equipment the police dept got this year and think "whoa, that's so cool, I feel so much safer with that on our streets!".

But not once will you think about how tyranny takes root and spreads out ever so slowly until one day you wake up to a knock on your door and they take you away for "questioning" the authorities.

Then what are you going to say? Nothing. You'll just move onto the next nugget Alex Jones dangles in front of you.

Have you noticed that the term “martial law” is coming up a lot in movies, news broadcasts and even in television commercials? What in the world are the elite up to? The so-called conspiracy is not that the Texas State Guard monitors the Army's exercises, it's that the Army is HAVING the exercise. According to the tinfoil têtes they're doing this to get the citizenry accustomed to uniformed military personnel walking about their towns and seeing heavy equipment vehicles driving around the countryside. This is all a precursor to rounding up the right-wing Bible thumping gun nutters and imprisoning them in Wal Mart stores.

Right, I'm not talking about the Texas Guard's role in this although that is not a practice I've seen in other states were I've conducted training. It's the crazies that are whining to the Governor about this.

Closing a highly profitable store to allow the forces involved in the exercise to use, seems questionable at the very least, and deserves to be watched.
