Trump argument bolstered: Clinton received 800,000 votes from noncitizens, study finds

Hillary Clinton garnered more than 800,000 votes from noncitizens on Nov. 8, an approximation far short of President Trump’s estimate of up to 5 million illegal voters but supportive of his charges of fraud.

Political scientist Jesse Richman of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, has worked with colleagues to produce groundbreaking research on noncitizen voting, and this week he posted a blog in response to Mr. Trump’s assertion.

Based on national polling by a consortium of universities, a report by Mr. Richman said 6.4 percent of the estimated 20 million adult noncitizens in the U.S. voted in November. He extrapolated that that percentage would have added 834,381 net votes for Mrs. Clinton, who received about 2.8 million more votes than Mr. Trump.

Mr. Richman calculated that Mrs. Clinton would have collected 81 percent of noncitizen votes.

“Is it plausible that non-citizen votes added to Clinton’s margin? Yes,” Mr. Richman wrote. “Is it plausible that non-citizen votes account for the entire nation-wide popular vote margin held by Clinton? Not at all.”

There was never any doubt that she received votes from illegals. The only question was how many. I imagine that won't be the end of the story.

Not with Trump looking into it. I am betting in the end the number will be much larger

So much for the liberal argument that we don't need voter id laws
The Washington Times article is partly news and partly opinion -- in the sense that they emphasize this differently than the political scientist Richmond (i.e., making it about bolstering Trump's argument that 5 million illegals voted for Hillary). But this is news that needs to get out there. Even if only 6.4 percent of roughly 20.3 million non-citizen adults are voting -- that is 6.4 percent too many! Voting is supposed to be for citizens. ONLY! Every time some voter id law comes along, it seems like there is not a liberal who doesn't oppose it. Voters should be identified to find out whether or not they have a right to vote.

I suspect he only has to check California to find a lot of them. Makes sense. California has issued about 1 million drivers license to illegals.

What is the proof required to register to vote in California? A drivers license.

A person would have to be an idiot not to believe some of them are going to vote.

Besides, there is a court case that proves 100s of illegals voted in one congressional district , just a few years ago. Who , in their right mind, would think they have stopped voting?

Liberals want illegal voting and traffic because they want a new voting base. They cannot sufficiently get one from American citizens so they need a new barrel to pull from. They care nothing about those people only their votes. Exactly like the black vote.

No one in their right mind to be sure.

An appeals court ruled our Texas voter id law violates the U.S. law prohibiting racial discrimination in elections! I'm bumfuzzled that we can have laws saying who can vote and who can't vote, and then aren't allowed to identify them!! So, yes, it must be about someone wanting to get those illegal votes.

I haven't seen any mention of Jesse Richman by Trump.

And then there's this, If a claim is "unsupported", as Trump's seems to be, why would he need anybody's research? If he's using real scientific research, them his claim is obviously "supported".

Richman can't have it both ways. Either his "research" is valid or it's not. If' it's valid, why would he object to it being used? Is he admitting he's a fraud?

Some liberal whining because his research is being used for the other sides is totally a non-issue if the focus, as it should be, is getting at the truth about whether or not illegal aliens are voting in our elections.

If Obama’s “subtle” announcement that they wouldn’t get caught while Hillary is promoting a recruiting plan isn’t evidence that there are rats in the system then I suggest people open their eyes to the truth.

Personally, here in AZ, I’ve talked to many illegal aliens that have told me they vote, one small group even admitted to haven voted 3 times in one election (2012) by using different forms of ID and going to different polling stations!

There is no doubt in my mind that especially in California illegal voting has been running rapid. Even one is too many although the real number is much much higher and that is the issue!

Our new President has a very good and important point, regardless of being able to prove exact numbers the truth of it going on stands and every American should be outraged that it is allowed to happen. Of course, the Radical Left prefer the lies about the issue and shutting down of any way ways of checking so that they can cheat – again if anyone claims they don’t see this or don't know the real reason WHY actions are taken to stop verification processes they need to open their eyes to truth.

I am thrilled that the President is going to look into ways to legitimize our voting process and ACTUALLY ENFORCE THE LAW. Too bad liberals! Your excuses are as obvious as the long nose on your faces and your unpatriotic actions of cheating on MY rights of an honest vote is going to get cut off along with many more of your unlawful lies.
