I have asked before on many threads. Why did God put the man he had created in his image, in the garden he had planted, where the Serpent was hanging out?

Did God know what he was doing. I wonder where the knowledge of our science is coming from and what will be the end of it all?

What exactly is the goal of the vaccine science of Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson ? You study and accomplish, gain of function, create, then create a vaccine.

They are knowledgeable!

What will that, "hope," of R8:20 do to the the greatest power of the Devil? Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Is that the reason God put the man where the Devil was hanging out?

Was God testing Adam or was God out to destroy the Devil?

This is my point in posting in this thread considering the OP. Is it the ultimate goal of the scientist, by using his knowledge he received from eating of the tree, to overcome, dying thou dost die? Ultimately in the imagination of their heart are they through genetic engineering trying to overcome death? Create immortal life?

 

Satan seems to have had easy access to everywhere in the past, heaven, Eden, God's face and throne.
God left the door to the garden open for Satan to enter in. Because the fall was planned.... predetermined.

He was SLAIN for our iniquities...and before Adam fell, there was no sin, and they were created after the foundation of the world., on the sixth day of creation.
God knew when He laid the foundations of the earth, it would cost His Son His life.

 

My wife and I talked about the vaccinations, and we declined. Her employer was looking into making it mandatory for workers and their families, but there has been a LOT of resistance to the forced compliance. We, even though we both have underlying conditions, have decided against them, just as we decided against wearing masks, social distancing, etc. We wash our hands on a regular basis, so there's no problem there. That's just plain, common sense. We neither take pneumonia or influenza vaccinations. I stopped taking them back in 2010. My wife stopped taking them in 2011.

 

My wife and I always travel by car, and since we have no intention of traveling overseas, we don't have to worry about the vaccines. If the abortionists can use the excuse "My body, my choice," I believe we can say the same here!

 

That works as long as you live the life of a hermit. Both my mother and my wife's mother have spent the last year fighting cancer, so we had to make an early choice to avoid them or to avoid contact with everyone else in order to protect their immune compromised condition. So the vaccine question was a "no brainer" for us. The ability to attend church again in person without risking killing our parents is well worth some million to one complication or a few days of a sore arm.

So it is your choice, but your choice impacts those around you.

 

Only if you admit that their use of the phrase is correct. Otherwise, it is simply an "excuse" to avoid responsibility.

 

We don't live the life of hermits, thank you. And my wife and I both have compromised immune systems, and she and I both have been exposed to "the virus" hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of times. She works in logistics and is on the floor of the warehouse every day. If taking the vaccinations is what you feel you need to do to make you feel safe, please, by all means, do so. I don't fault ANYONE for doing so. But, my wife and I have declined it. I believe we have a God that is much larger, stronger, and more important than the virus and is able to keep us safe. We all have our appointed time to die, and regardless of whether or not we wear a mask or take a vaccination is not going to change that. My whole family with few exceptions feels that way, especially since the recovery rate, even for those with compromised immune systems is so high. And, as I said, my wife and I have no intention of going out of the country, so for us that's not an issue.

 

I made a comparison, and wasn't trying to introduce a new subject. Just trying to establish a mindset among so many "Christians" and "woke" people of today. If you don't like the post, feel free to delete it. And, being an "administrator here, Salty, you should have more "Christianity" in you than to call it the "Chinese Virus" blaming a whole civilization of people, many of who live in the United States and have for years, or their family is Chinese and have lived here for centuries. It's a racist statement, and offensive not only to me, but to others.

Just one interjection on this subject. I'm FAR from being a "politically correct" personality. But, I also have a very diverse family and friend set. So, I try NOT to be offensive to any select group of people unless they are in doctrinal error, and then I do call that out. That's not being politically correct, that is being Biblically based. Actually, it didn't. It is believed to have originated in the United States, in Haskell County, Kansas, to be specific. The reason it was dubbed the Spanish flu is that during World War 1, all of the major powers had heavy censorship over any information that might be helpful to the enemy. News of a deadly influenza sweeping through the armies was suppressed by everyone except for Spain, which was a neutral country and had a press that was able to report on the strange and virulent disease afflicting the Spanish population.

So if we are going to name the 1918-1919 influenze after a country, it should be called "the United States flu" or "the US virus."

Just as the US did not create the 1918-1919 pandemic, China did not create the 2020-2021 pandemic, despite a bunch of conspiracy theories claiming otherwise. Disease is an affliction of humanity, not the result of specific nations.

Given our former President's desire to scapegoat other countries, the phrases, "China virus," "Kung Flu," etc., have been used as justifications for harassing and even physically harming Asians in the United States. It is not "PC" or "woke" to love one's neighbor and speak truthfully about them.

 

I too believe the sentence I've bolded. However, I also believe that God's mercy and grace enabled scientists to quickly develop effective and very safe (not totally safe, of course) vaccines, such that we have a choice whether to be vaccinated or not. God has numbered our days since eternity past, and He's given us intelligence to make sensible* choices concerning our health.
(* That which is "sensible" for me may not be sensible for the next person, and vice versa.)
