Its all of the same mindset and related the same wannabe political partisanship COVID ideologies and obsessions.
I suspect there a variety of views regarding Covid…

…but you do seem to have embraced a “mindset…. related to the same wannabe political partisanship…. Bla bla bla… you’re bad and I’m good… ideology”

I’ll leave you to your obsession.

Thanks for the conversation.

peace to you

If they can place a label on you then they can make you a boogy man and an enemy.
It is truly sad that we continuously witness the death of honest debate, intellectual discussion and dialog on important issues on the BB.

But, hope springs eternal.

peace to you

Jon, I don't know where you come up with this stuff. I had the grand kids over just the other day and I told them "you better quit eatin' them covid tests. Don't make me get up from this chair".
Seems that way. I mean....you gotta tell kids not to consume laundry detergent, not to breathe paint fumes in a paper bag, not to eat the silica gel packs in their new shoes, not to put their heads in a plastic bag, and not to put covid test solution in their eyes.

We had better sence. Sure we put butter knives in electric outlets, and fingers in light sockets. But that was a dare....it's different.

Me thinks, you give your (obsessive, boring) "intellectual discussion" way too much credit. ;)

Perhaps. But if your goal is intellectual dishonesty and strife, why bother posting on a Christian forum?

Why not just unleash upon the secular websites instead bringing shame to the cause of Christ?

peace to you

Read much of the story you linked.
You should read all of it before reaching a conclusion. But thank you for being honest about not reading all of it.

Like all Covid nonsense, the author spends the first, very long portion of his story, ridiculing the authors and anyone who referenced their works, making fun of both with personal attacks and buffoonery.
Pointing out the sheer stupidity and dishonesty of the devils who claimed this was a "John Hopkins study" should be mocked.

When he finally acknowledges the results, he immediately pivots to continued personal attacks.
He acknowledges that there was a working paper that made such claims, but he also cited some obvious issues with the methodology of the working paper, the lack of citations, and the careful avoidance of well-researched studies that must be taken into account before drawing their conclusions.

Bottom line, your source is biased.
It is biased toward truth. It's interesting that you can't even acknowledge that your previously cited "John Hopkins study" is nothing of the sort.

As best I could decipher between all the insults and personal attacks the three authors are professors or in some other way associated with John Hopkins.

Has John Hopkins issued a statement distancing themselves from this analysis?

You would think John Hopkins would distance itself from “dishonest devils”, if that is in fact, what they are.

Perhaps they are waiting for actual peer review by other leading scholars instead of personal attacks by journalists. Perhaps science will win over politics when it comes to Covid for a change.

Not sure what would draw you to the conclusions to make such a rather harsh suggestion to me. Maybe that's how you deal with criticism, but one might consider your reply to be a bit condescending and leading to a hit and run personal attack. But, I won't question your Christian standing in return. My point was this horse is dead, done beaten to a pulp and starting to smell bad yet the need to convince others of the evil of COVID treatment and testing seems obsessively driven to bring up such a mundane topic and then be overly offensive about it. Talk about bla bla bla...

I never questioned your “Christian standing”, only your argument that intellectual debate is “boring”.

I have never denied the value of vaccines, treatments, especially for those that are high risk.

The problem I have is that any discussion of the scientific evidence concerning this virus is usually attacked as if it is only believed by tinfoil hat, live in a bunker, eat rice cakes waiting for the zombie apocalypse nutcases.

“Bla, bla, bla,” was a little harsh; toward you. Apologies.

peace to you
