Did I post scripture, YES. So if you are disagreeing then it is with the bible. You may not like what it says but you should not call it a false gospel.

Adam and Eve truly had free will. It is because of the fall that the will has been impacted by sin

but yes, God decreed the fall. He decrees all that comes to pass

God decreed the fall to exalt the glory of a crucified and risen Savior Jesus Christ

Was God surprised by the fall?

Did Satan overcome God in the fall?

you seem to have a theology of the fall that I would like to hear?

again, Scripture makes plain that God is NOT the author of sin

if God DECREED the fall, then God is the AUTHOR of sin!

You can try all you like, and you will never get around this.

Check the meaning of DECREED, and then post here that it does not make God the AUTHOR

How did @KenH come to his conclusion "that you and your salvation depend on your performance?"
He read your posts that explicitly tell us that salvation is " because of our" and "because we."
Silverhair, can you honestly not grasp what you are saying when you write what you write?

You preach your own actions, which cause God to respond.

You have created a variation of the Judaizers theology, which Paul calls anathema.

You can not have free will and Gods' decree at the same time. If God decreed the fall, as you say, then A & E did not have any option but to fall. That is unless you think that Gods' degrees are really just suggestions?

I agree that scripture does not make God the author of sin, your theology does that.

    CHAPTER 3; OF GOD’S DECREE
Paragraph 1. God hath decreed in himself, from all eternity, by the most wise and holy counsel of
    His own will, freely and unchangeably, all things, whatsoever comes to pass;
1 yet so as thereby is
God neither the author of sin nor hath fellowship with any therein;2 nor is violence offered to the
will of the creature, nor yet is the liberty or contingency of second causes taken away, but rather
established;3 in which appears His wisdom in disposing all things, and power and faithfulness in
    accomplishing His decree.4

Your own LBCF has God decree all things, but when they realized just how bad that was they then say but not all things. They had to include an escape hatch to cover their bad theology.

    Read your bible.

Rom 5:1 Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Rom 5:2 through who we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God.

Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.

Rom 10:9 because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.

    Eph 1:13 In him you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and had believed in him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit;

You just do not like the idea that God expects man to use his God given free will to make real choices. You continue to deny clear scripture. Since these verses are not taken out of context you will have to come up with another excuse for denying scripture, but I am sure you will try.

You obviously believe in chance and a God that does not rule over His own creation

we greatly differ on that point

You obviously believe that God decrees all things and at the same time say He does not decree all things, like sin. Make up your mind. You have God speaking out of both sides of His mouth.

Just so were clear, God is sovereign and He rules over all of His creation. The difference is that you want Him to dictate every move and thought or else, in your mind, He is not God. The bible shows that God is sovereign and in His sovereignty He has given man a real free will, you just refuse to accept that.

Free will for man was destroyed at the fall

Unregenerate man is no longer in a neutral position in regards to sin ie able to sin or not sin

It is more fundamental than that. It is being conceived with the sinful nature. Romans 3:11. Romans 5:12.

    Genesis 3:4-5. John 8:44.

    Ephesians 2:1-3.
