Human connection. So you don't care about sin?
Then what is the purpose?
You're twisting my words. You go and support open sin and slap God in the face and see what His response is to you. By your open approval of sin you condemn yourself.
Have you no fear of God?
Human connection.
No. I believe what the Bible says. We're supposed to be in the world but not of it.2 Corinthians 7:10
For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death
What you believe is damnable heresy!
So you wouldn't share the Gospel with them? You are OK with 'making some memories' with them while you celebrate their sin. You won't warn them of the consequences of their unrepentant homosexuality? You are ok with them going to hell as long as you 'make memories'?I'm not concerned about sin. And I'm not concerned about my perceived approval or disapproval of sin. It's my position that connection is the most important thing in this world, especially at this particular time period. The gravity of the situation is this:
If we don't start building bridges with each other at least at the family unit level, then this world will destroy itself in a third world war.
Go to the wedding. Be with your family. Make some memories. Value the people who God has placed in your life.
If they asked me how I felt about it only then would I share my thoughts. So you wouldn't share the Gospel with them? You are OK with 'making some memories' with them while you celebrate their sin. You won't warn them of the consequences of their unrepentant homosexuality? You are ok with them going to hell as long as you 'make memories'?
Of course we should 'value the people who God has placed in your life'. If it was these homosexuals getting married it would be so you can share the Gospel with them that they might be saved from the condemnation they are under from God right now (John 3:18).
So you would rather them stay 'in the world' then? You wouldn't share the Gospel and have God use you to save them from the wrath of God which is to come? So you are 'in the world', but it's okay for them to stay in this world? You don't want to bring them into the other world? No. I believe what the Bible says. We're supposed to be in the world but not of it.
Of course it is celebrating their sin. You are at their wedding celebration, so you are celebrating their sin. You can try and deny i all you want.If they asked me how I felt about it only then would I share my thoughts.
This isn't about "celebrating sin". It's about building bridges and becoming more like Christ.

No, I don't agree with you wrote.Of course it is celebrating their sin. You are at their wedding celebration, so you are celebrating their sin. You can try and deny i all you want.
So then you agree with what I wrote: So you wouldn't share the Gospel with them? You are OK with 'making some memories' with them while you celebrate their sin. You won't warn them of the consequences of their unrepentant homosexuality? You are ok with them going to hell as long as you 'make memories'?
That is definitely not love.
You never responded to this part of what I wrote:

Nope. That is exactly what you wrote. You're twisting my words.
From what you wrote you do.No, I don't agree with you wrote.
Did you read what I wrote? You're assuming a lot of things that aren't necessarily true.Nope. That is exactly what you wrote.
So again:
So you wouldn't share the Gospel with them? You are OK with 'making some memories' with them while you celebrate their sin. You won't warn them of the consequences of their unrepentant homosexuality? You are ok with them going to hell as long as you 'make memories'?

Nope not assuming. Read what you wrote. That is why I am writing this again. You have not answered the questions I wrote and or commented on the second paragraph. Again:Did you read what I wrote? You're assuming a lot of things that aren't necessarily true.
I already answered your questions.Nope not assuming. Read what you wrote. That is why I am writing this again. You have not answered the questions I wrote and or commented on the second paragraph. Again:

I would want to be told the truth so that I could avert life problems down line. Again you do no one any favors by allowing them to ruin their lives. At the very least you should be sitting down with that person to express your concerns face to face. They are tragically destroying any opportunity to have a normal loving relationship with the opposite sex, they can’t procreate, and they Will be ostracized by the world at large. You think that you’re doing any service to a relative by not addressing these issues upfront?Yes, I am bringing feelings into it. They matter. And it matters how you treat people. This is right out of the Bible. It's the Golden Rule. Treat others how you want to be treated.
Excellent and well thought out!Nope not assuming. Read what you wrote. That is why I am writing this again. You have not answered the questions I wrote and or commented on the second paragraph. Again:

I'm just saying that there's a gentler way to handle things like this. Because this hypothetical family member's feelings are on the line.I would want to be told the truth so that I could avert life problems down line. And these are only the worldly wounds they will be inflicting upon themselves. Need I outline the eternal ramifications for opposing God. Come on… you should know better.
Hmm...Okay...From your responses (or more like non-responses/avoiding) then I will take from it thatI already answered your questions.
No. I believe what the Bible says. We're supposed to be in the world but not of it.
