@Baptist Believer what would you say in any other case where the prosecution dragged its feet in the discovery process?Methinks, discovery process, is exactly what is at question!
This is not "any other case." This is about a crime in a high security area with a potentially massive number of defendants. Let a judge rule on it.@Baptist Believer what would you say in any other case where the prosecution dragged its feet in the discovery process?
The videos from the Capitols invaders themselves demonstrate that the claims of a violent attack upon Capitol Police and shouts of "Hang Mike Pence" are absolutely real -- unless there has been a massive conspiracy by all of the people who have previously claimed for years to support Trump and have had all of their footage created by the late Stanley Kubrick to correlate perfectly together from people all over the country, who moved and acted just like in their manufactured footage, managing to smash the glass, break doors, and defecate in exactly the right places before retreating and posting the footage online. Now those same actors are in court, being prosecuted by the government. The author's question was rhetorical. Here's her answer:
There’s only one reason why the Justice Department wants to keep the footage under seal: it contradicts most if not all of the claims advanced by Democrats and the media over the past four months.

We have video evidence. Lots of QAnon people, Trump supporters, "Christians," Proud Boys, Oathkeepers, White Supremacists, and other gullible people. Many left very public documentation of their participation.Hey, we agree on something. I wonder if we agree on who exactly committed the, crime?
It wasn't rejected, but there are questions as to why they were not better prepared. Moreover, there are major questions as to why President Donald Trump would not authorize the National Guard to go in and assist, and why he told the protestors that "he loved them" when he finally issued a statement to them. He, of course, was the person who set the date for the rally, worked everyone up with a speech, announced their march to the Capitol (falsely claiming he would go with them -- a statement that says they are going with his authority), and then sent them on their way. He went back to the White House and watched the whole thing unfold with great interest and refused to intervene for several hours.A high security area, that security therefor, was rejected. I wonder, WHY?
