The ad has some truth problems, such as "Americans are under attack by Islamic extremists in every corner of the world", "lesbians and feminists are attacking everything sacred", "...liberal judges have completely rewritten the constitution: you can burn the American flag...but you can't say, "God" in public.
Now, I liked "Leave it to Beaver", Ward Cleaver was very cool, but the show was totally white, middle class suburban - that is creepily Twilight Zonish to me. The attack on feminists is reminescent of the Stepford Wives while the antiliberal, antihomosexual stance is Pod Peoplish.
How is the style of this ad "new"? Lies, exaggerations and fear of Others - same old, same old. -
Liberals take themselves so seriously. -

There arent any lies in this. He hit the nail on the head on each and every point. A black man had no trouble using a clip from leave it to Beaver but a liberal becomes troubled at the color of his skin. Imagine that.

We as people need to stop making judgements about people that we cannot back up. Especially when they are in the negative. Daisy you cannot say that this guy is following the President of the United States or the Republicans blindly and without question. You just do not know that. And it is possible that he out of the sincerity of his heart has sought out his conscience and fell into agreemant based on his moral values. To say otherwise in an unfounded attack.

Very ingenious ad, and well stated points. I agree with what he is saying and hope he gets elected.

The problem with this country is he is offending too many groups to ever get into office. As indicated by this board, he wouldn't even get all the christian vote. -

What I did was criticize the ad, which is the nominal topic of this thread. I don't know much about this guy, but he doesn't have much regard for facts.
The ad is apparently effective with some of the people here, so I cannot say that it totally reeks. It is, however, chock full o'lies and exaggerations. Some people evidently enjoy that sort of thing. Go figure. -
Political correctness is not about facts, either.
It's about overreaction to a given situation in order to please a vocal minority or one of the the radical fringe groups of America.
It follows that the best way to point out the ridiculous nature of "political correctness" is to be just as overreactive and ridiculous.
This ad does it very well and with a sense of humor...
which most liberals seem to lack.
