I know not everyone likes dancing in church but our church has a dance/worship team that is made up of young girls from 12-18 and they will do special things in the service at times. Our Christmas Eve service was one of those times and they did this dance to a song that was sung by a young man from our youth group. It's called "Christmas Offering". My girls are the ones with the blue and pink fans. :)

Thanks! I love the way this ministry is run. It's very much a discipleship kind of relationship between the girls and the moms who run it. There have been times that the leader has pulled a girl out at the last minute because she was fighting with her parents or got in trouble in school. The leader holds them to a strict code, which I appreciate. They are role models for the younger girls and they need to be the kind of girls who live up to that. I appreciate the leaders' input into my daughter's lives. :)

I had that happen on my old computer. It just couldn't handle video like that - so it would crash. :( But I'm on a new and improved computer! a 2001 Mac!! Woo-hoo!! Just got it for Christmas.

Yes, my husband is a computer engineer in addition to being a pastor.

Yes, we're the "plumber's family with the leaky faucet". LOL

Don't be ashamed, we won't hold that against you... :wavey:

Great video.

Let's see... girls dancing in church in front of brightly lit pagan trees??? (Again, I knew you were a liberal.)

BTW, my sister's church (SBC) had some dancers in one of their plays -- but they called them "movemateers" rather than dancers. Too funny, eh?

Movemateers?? Too funny!!

Yes, I must be liberal to the core. Modern versions, worship band, dancing in church and pants. Shall I give back my Baptist membership card??

couldn't get it to work.

Joshua - You can go to Youtube and look up "nbcdoz". The video is the one called "Christmas Eve 2008 - Three Kings" - the one with the dash in it and it's 2:52 minutes.

Gotta avoid the taboo names.

I love to see the children performing before the church body, and of course the Lord. And I always wonder at those poor kids that don't have a church family. You are blessed...

I have had the opportunity to be the first to become a Christian in my family and pray for my family and relatives and watch God work in such a way that most of them are Christians today. I cannot understand and probably never will why so many I know who do not have an urgency about praying and proclaiming Christ where they live and work each day. I have seen an incredible difference in their lives compared to when I first became a Christian.

Well, you got the praise of men for them. Was it worth God's disdain?
