The author was Dave Hunt.
The woman is identified as the Roman Catholic Church.
The beast is identified as the anti-christ.

I haven't read it; it was recommended to me.
That's why I was asking opinions concerning this book.

More likely, dispies are going to realize how much truth of God's word they missed out on by ignoring 'the time is at hand', and foolishly relegating it all to the future.

I disagree. I think his calvinism
book is superb, as well as the other.

In the past I believe you've enjoyed and/or talked of reading Peter S. Ruckman. You'd probably enjoy this book greatly (by Dave Hunt) and I believe you'd also enjoy anything by C. S. Lovett. Any of these works should be challenging to you as they are along the lines of your theological diet.

Think dave should have stayed in areas that he knows about, sich as eschatology and false teachings by faith teachers!

I agree regarding the word of faith teachers.
But In my opinion of course, I belive that Dave Hunts criticisms of calvinism are right on target, as well.

Thus, the reason I have no desire to hear what he says about other subjects.
