An Oxford University stem-cell expert is suggesting the use of aborted baby organs for transplant patients.
Sir Richard Gardner has pitched the idea which he believes will help make up for the shortage of organs available for transplant. Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America objects.
"What this shows is that there is serious interest on the part of some in the research community, by some scientists, to treat human beings as commodities and to see them as just entities for spare parts, to slice and dice them up in order to obtain their organs and tissues," she contends.
