In the case of Christian schools accredited by ACSI though - to take credits for Bible credit (not transfer) and not to take a degree is odd. You can get a degree from Andersonville (or Bethany, etc) and ACSI will take every Bible credit toward re-cert but still won't accept the degree. The credits will advance you to a point. Why are all the credits worthy, but the degree is not. I understand all the reasoning. I only mentioned this because of the incongruity of this to the info about Liberty mentioned in the OP by webdog.

Are we 100% certain that Liberty has accepted credits from schools like Andersonville and Bethany?

I believe Liberty and LBU have some kind of an agreement (perhaps Martin can verify this).

I thought the OP said they accepted people with degrees from Andersonville but didn't accept credits.

I could have lost track :p

Here's the actual quote about Andersonville from the OP:

I don't think Andersonville has any degrees equivalent to 90 hours, but it's been awhile since I looked at their site.

I must have run more than one of the statements together in my feeble brain.

Bitsy, well, we have both in the OP: Liberty accepting both credits and a BA.

Maybe this was not intended by Webdog. I don't know.

I see now, I didn't pull the whole quote about Andersonville:

So it looks like they might have done both, even though Andersonville says they onely accept degrees.

It was the first sentence I was pulling from in my comparison to what ACSI accepts (obviously). I'm still curious about 90 grad hours at Andersonville. I need to look them up again.

I guess someone needs to contact both Liberty and Andersonville to find out what's really up.

I did...Liberty didn't respond to my email, and Andersonville's response was the OP information. It's odd that Liberty didn't respond. I wonder why?

Liberty is OBNOXIOUSLY slow in responding to e-mails (in my experience). They have a lot of inquiries, I'm sure.

I guess in time they will respond to you. Have you tried calling? I rather call than email.

No I haven't. It's been 10 days, so that might not be a bad idea. Still waiting on their catalog, too...

    Ok, kool!

I think Stefan might be right, since Liberty is the largest university in the US.

Also, if you are communicating with the registrar's office, you have to hound them. I paid for a transcript from LU that never got sent. I had to ask months later for them to resend it (no fee, but still!).

Try the live chat option instead of email. You can get a transcript of your chat.

I just received my Bachelor's of Religious Studies from NationsUniversity. I had planned to go to Andersonville in 2006 but decided to stay at Nations. After some long, hard thought and prayer, I think I'm going to attend Andersonville. Except for the King James Onlyism and hard cessationism they're pretty much in line with my theology.

Moreover, cost is a problem. My father is recovering from cancer and I'm disabled, so money is tight. I had planned to attend Bethany but at the moment cannot afford them, either.

So, come June 1 I will be working for my Master's in Theology. I know the degree will not carry the same weight as Dallas or SATS, but at least I'll be doing something!

BTW, I like the new design of Andersonville's site. The old one looked tacky.
