Actually, your boldness pales in comparison with several members of this board. In fact you are more Christ-like then some of those commenting on your OP. Hang tough for Jesus, He hung tough for you!®

I am not buying the Carson book. I have too many books for one and for two I am not only evangelizing emergent churches. My next letter is headed to a New Age Church.

It's clear, you have no idea what you're talking about. The emergent leaders don't even use that term "emergent" any more, you're only about 5-10 years behind.

I would say do yourself a favor and quit while you're ahead, but you've convinced yourself that you
    a. Know what you're talking about
    B. Doing something useful

    So tilt away Quixote

Go chase a rabbit. It sounds like you are friendly towards their doctrines.

Is everyone who has told you that you are making a mistake by writing these letters "friendly" towards these churchs' doctrines?

That’s because we would love to add “biblical” to your self-description of “bold and confrontational,” but find it unwarranted. In all seriousness, I tried to dialogue with you, but when someone disagrees you ignore and never respond to questions or calls for clarification … or you result to childish rubbish by posting pictures of rabbits. You jump to wild conclusions and accusations (i.e., if someone declines to read a book you recommend it is because they are “against books”). Anyway, for my part it is more frustration than spitefulness. Against several people’s advice I chose to interact with you on a serious level, so that frustration is on me. I do find some of your beliefs about evangelism a bit unbiblical and mendacious. But yes...depending on your situation and level of narcissism, I can understand how the truth can be a bit problematic.

(And at least I'm in good company with the problematic gang...we're still trying to come up with a better name......and jackets....:wavey:).

Truth and common sense can be problematic.

This man does not want answers. He is baiting you. He only wants agreement with what he has already determined to be correct, no matter the subject.

My Pup is more appreciative of getting to lick the Cool Whip spoon than this gentleman is of counsel.

Padre, Plain -- welcome to the club. Your jackets will be in the mail as soon as Jon decides on a design for the patch. <grin>

I would have this to say about these men you mentioned. I converse with them often, and have not found them to be problematic, per se. May I suggest that you take the time to get to know them, one-on-one, which will help you in better knowing what they feel conflicted about with your posts.
