I agree with you I was putting (God of course) because that is what I know. Not because that is what they thought. We next look , I think, at their background to find out what they most likely believed.

More than that, they were disputing the "divine right" of kings to rule as well as the caste system.
I disagree with you. I think they realized that this issue had been answered with the Glorious Revolution. Though Paine used it as an argument, it was not the substance of their complaints.
