If he's wrong, then explain it to him patiently....using the Scriptures, Dave.

I'm not here to convince you of anything, Willis, except the sufficiency of God's word alone on any given subject...
Not the sufficiency of commentaries + God's words.

To me, it's the same principle as "monergism" versus "synergism".

The Bible is what guides us, but God has given us these blessed ppl to teach us. Look at the book of Acts for instance. They studied it together. They went from house to house breaking bread(I think this was their way of expressing having meals together and not necessarily having communion daily, but I can’t help but think they had church daily).

Well, sermons are forms of commentaries.

Calling it a millennium = it is 1000 years.

Again, your view of amillennialism isn’t the majority view. I gave you a link, did you read it by chance?

I’m not convinced when I told you that I didn’t think Jesus taught a premillennial view.

Be careful about teachers, my friend ( Matthew 7:15-20, 2 Peter 2, 1 John 4:1-6 ), they can be wrong...
Especially given that these are the last days.

Most teach an institutional church form that Jesus refuted in the gospels.

Yes, I am, and I'm not going to get into a debate with you over it.
Debating is not godly ( Romans 1:28-32 ) and is not a fruit of the Spirit ( Galatians 5:22-23 ), but rather a work of the flesh ( Galatians 5:19-21 ).

If you call the kingdom a millennium, you're in Pharisee territory.

And if you teach amillennialism then you’re in RCC or Greek Orthodox territory. It cuts both ways.

Denominations. Brick and mortar institutions. Unscriptural monarchial bishops.....

Jesus taught Amillennialism. But only the born-again can see the kingdom he preached.
