The gospel is going worldwide.
Put your newspaper down and read your bible.
Ww2 is not going worldwide. Hitler is dead. The gospel is in Germany.
Vietnamese are believing the gospel.
The gospel is going sea to sea...look at psalm22...psalm72.
All those wars do not change what God declares.
You quote 1pet5:8 as if postmill teachers do not agree that Satan exists.
Satan was bound in the day of Job , in that he could not take Job's life.
Gary DeMar is interesing to listen to. His eschatology is Partial aka Orthodox Preterist.
There are issues. He does not know Matthew 16:27-28 has two parts.
Its second part is Matthew 16:28 - Matthew 17:1-9.
Reference 2 Peter 1:16-18 where Peter writes about this.
The main differences are partial preterm looks at the time texts.....this generation and understands that these texts are for the 1st century primarily.
Jn 6 places the "rapture" at the last day.3x
Any view has to re-create what took place already, like a do over.
Men sin because they're sinners.
they sin whether satan is bound or not bound.
The verse revelation says nothing about man's sinning it talks about binding of satan from deceiving the nation's is talking about the activity of satan not man's sin so once again you're just making things up just to be contentious
Gary referred to Matthew 24:34 and so argued.
I am of the persuasion that "this generation" refers to who in Matthew 24:32-33, ". . . Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. . . ."
Referring to Matthew 24:29, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, . . ." Those who see that are that "this generation."
I have had that understanding many years. The plural "ye" is used in the same way as the plural "we" in 1 Corinthains 15:52 by the Aposlte Paul. As "you" by John in Matthew 3:11, and the "ye" to Nicodemus in John 3:7.
Men are constantly inventing new ways to sin. I don't think that's would occur without Satan, the daddy of all sin,
and second in power after the Godhead, & perhaps Michael. I believe sin would've been rare during any thousand years during which Satan woulda been exiled. This event hasn't yet happened, either.
