What did hinder them? With no hinderance, neglecting to go through with baptism is a denial of Christ.

sure, but ALL Christians probably disobey the Lord daily in somethings they do, or don't do

Both of the ordinances of the church (Baptism and Communion) are partaken of purely as acts of obedience. I was baptized by immersion (in Chautauqua Lake) in June of 1982. I take communion almost every month at West Portland Baptist Church in Westfield, New York. My salvation was settled on the day I was saved, March 11, 1982.

True, but to willingly deny oneself being water baptized after saved in a real problem and act of disobedience!
