I went to read Les Puryear's blog post but it's been removed. I'm surprised at his actions, although I don't know who he is.

 

It surprises me not that you posted this nor that old Wade is trying to stir something up. In both cases its pathetic.

 

Are you making an assumption or did you read the blog at the URL referenced?

The prophets always stirred things up to. Were they wrong?

I read the book You Mean I Dont Have to Tithe? by David A. Croteau and that is what the blog is about. I found the book to be the best I have read on the subject. It was loaded with references, theology and historical documentation. I found the author to have done a very thorough job.

Could you identify when the tithe went from 23.33% (including what the government and religious establishment received) in the OT in Judaism, to 10% which only the church received that the individual selected?

 

Do you expect men to be effeminate? Ever read about Jesus and what he did with the religious establishment? Ever read the books of the prophets?
