Hey everyone... if you're from a church that does blended or contemporary music, or even if you learned a hymn that you didn't know, gives us a heads up. I'm always asking other worship pastors or senior pastors about what speaks to them. What songs have I maybe not heard that are speaking to you these days?
For me (not necessarily all new, but new to me):
Sometimes He Calms the Storm (Krippayne)
I Have a Hope (Walker)
Today is the Day (Brewster)
Glorious God (Parachute Band)
My Savior, My God (Shust)
Offering (Baloche)
What about you? What's God using in your corporate worship?

OK - You're going to make me think on this one:
Jesus Messiah (Tomlin)
Let God Arise (Tomlin)
God of this City (Tomlin)
Mystery (Hall)
Cannons (Wickham) -
I have a record by Vinnie Cioffi and I heard him some years ago at a concert:
God gave the song (Gaither)
I keep falling in love with Him (Wolfe)
Give them all (Johnson) Vinnie did a good job with this one, but there was a woman who sang this one on a Billy Graham Crusade, but I can't remember her name.
Cheers,
Jim -
I LOVE God of this City.

Philips/Craig/Dean's new CD is fabulous! The first song sent me to my knees, right in the middle of kneading the bread.
I LOVE music! There's too many to list! -
Heard a few new ones this weekend.
"The Power of the Cross" (Getty)
"Your Grace is Enough" (Maher)
"Behold the Lamb" (Getty)
"Hallelujah, What a Savior" (arr. Walker)
"I Have a Hope" (Walker) -
Jesus Messiah is my new favorite one... that our choir is learning...
Also.. while not new.. it is to me for some reason: In Christ Alone...
Not the Brian Littrell song but the other one that sounds like a hymn. -

In Christ Alone is also by the Gettys. If you like that song, try "The Power of the Cross" and "Behold the Lamb". Awesome!
