President Obama has said he will not pursue charges against anyone for the harsh interrogation techniques. (They had bi-partisan support, and too many democrats would have been charged....heh)

I think what Obama did was a good thing which should have made the right happy. I am surprised to see the unappreciative response.
I agree the agents who did the touchering were just following orders but the people who gave the orders did break our laws.

I guess not but I don't think they should be charged.

I saw nothing in the report that is even close to torture.

What exactly should have made the right happy? I'm not. I think he put our national security at risk and showed (again) just how much he hates our country.

Water boarding and keeping prisoners n@ked are considered torture. Torture is illegal. Obama will not prosecute the people who were merely following orders. I think that is a fair decision.
Now we can debate if water boarding is torture or not but so far torture is the definition winning the debate. I personally have no conclusion since I've never seen it first hand.

Are you confusing interrogation with torture? Those are terms currently being defined.

Obama has not shut the door on waterboarding or any other interrogation techniques.
