Just in case any of you had any thoughts that Michael Moore's depiction of Iraq before the fall of Saddam being correct, check this documentary out and I think you will see otherwise:
Buried In the Sand
In Michael Moore's movie, he depicted Iraq as being this peaceful utopia where kids were flying kites, and people were happy, laughing, and have wedding ceremonies until the evil Americans bombed them into oblivion and murdered them. This DVD shows the evidence to the contrary. This is not for the faint of heart. I only watched some edited clips of this on Hannity and Colmes tonight and it was pretty grotesque.

You know, Joseph, the liberals are already going wild over this because they don't want to see or admit the truth. Every American who values their own life should see this, but I guarantee it won't be stomached, because it's too frightening. I haven't seen this DVD, but have been on line and seen some of the beheading videos by the jihadists (without sound, though - knew I couldn't handle sound, too).
Oh, it's okay for Americans to go see Texas Chainsaw Massacres or Hannibal and they'll plunk down the dough at the box office, but forget about real life and the fact these same evil terrorist dudes would do the same thing over here, chop off heads, etc. if given half a chance. This is the DVD Shell stations pulled from their shelves. Doubt if it will be one of the monthly features at Blockbuster.
By the way, after expenses for production costs, the producer is donating the profits to our military families.
Michael Moore kept his profits, to the best of my knowledge. I'm sure if he had donated them, it would be all over the web. -
Believe it or not, I think this might actually be more grotesque than Hannibal or TCM. There is one scene in here where they are cutting off the tongue of an Iraqi. They even edited out the video clips showing the rape, torure, and murders of Iraqi children. There is one scene where these young children (boys) are playing like they are terrorists about to behead a prisoner played by one of their friends. There is another scene where a young girl is dressed as a martyr and is exalting the ideas of blowing herself up in order to kill others. This is the kind of society the Iraqis lived in before America came. Terrorism was not a problem that began only after the Americans incited the "peace loving" terrorists.

Although my feelings on Iraq are known here - I am disgusted by Michael Moore and his sorry excuse for a documentary. I refuse to see it and give him even one cent. With virtually every discussion that comes up with an Irish person they will at some time say something like "Did you see what Moore said in his movie" giving it credence as fact.
I hope this video will have some impact on refuting Moore's claims.
Disgusted, apalled, etc. -
Moore is an idiot, IMO. Nobody should take him seriously.

I believe that Iraq was a Godless country before we invaded, and will be a Godless country after we have '?finished'. I am not convinced that sending our young men and women into harm's way in order to 'better' the lives of those in these nations is justifiable. Of course, if there is imminent danger to the US or our allies, then I could support it; however, I have not been thoroughly convinced of that, either. I believe a threat bigger than Iraq was/is the movement of Islam into the western countries (12.5 million in Europe). Of course, their jihad is more subtile.
You couldn't give me anything produced by Michael Moore or any propoganda produced by the left, but I do not believe that I am going to rush out and purchase Buried in the Sand. It is very sad to see such brutality imposed on any people of any faith, culture, etc.; however, will the lives of our children make those places any better? -
Well said, Willie.

They can't handle the truth!
And Michael Moore borderlines treason in my mind. Maybe if I watched all of his garbage I could just say treason all the way! -
Wow, where's you get that line?

Would you consider "outing" a CIA operative and compromising everyone associated with him/her "treason?"
Would you consider the act of illegally selling weapons to a sworn enemy of the United States "treason?"
