What do you think of the far left coast's attempt to spend more of its legal citizen's money on illegals? Especially after Obama promised that amnesty would not include access to free health care?!
Cal Democrats Offer New Bills to Make Illegals MORE Comfortable?!?

Victor Davis Hanson says that there are now two Californias: the rich in places such as Malibu and the essentially illegal aliens in a sort of third world environment like Mexico.

You have that right, CMG! Like America, California no longer resembles the California I new all my life. Personally, if they succeed in dividing the state into two states, my half will be more like what I'm used to, conservative. Still, there are so many Hispanics here, mostly illegal, that all the two year colleges are dominated by that group of people.
It is a hot button issue out here that the elected dems are going to give illegals medical care, free college, no fear of deportation, food stamps and welfare and drives licenses to boot. The rumor is the dems and governor moonbeam are trying to find a way to let them vote in California elections (city, county and state).
What a country. No where else in this world would illegals be made so welcome and treated to the creature comforts citizens are entitled to. -

The Democrats need the votes as well as the cheap labor to manicure their yards and keep their businesses running.
However, the sticky part is that the medical care, free college, food stamps, and welfare that you mention are all very expensive so that California taxes are higher than New York City I hear. At any rate, the rich have to dodge the taxes that are necessary to pay the welfare to make up for the low wages and dead-end jobs and the cost of assimilation.
Also, it seems that Moonbeam prefers a high-speed train to the infrastructure necessary to solve the water distribution system. Is that right? You are going to have a high-speed train in a drought-stricken area with a collapsed economy, aren't you? Nevertheless, Moonbeam would make a better president than Hillary. -
