how about the doctrine of evolution.
or the doctrine of no hell.
the doctrine of affirming certain sin.
is it safe to read Gods word as not literal where it is supposed to be.
at what point do those who believe in different doctrines break off and become believing in a different Jesus of the bible?
I believe a person can have troubling doctrine but is it probable that those who see satan and hell as a metaphor are lost ? The gospel is to be believed but who are those who believe that God is affirming certain lifestyles as normal and not sinful or His adversary is not a real spiritual being?
i pray always to know what God has intended to say in his word will be revealed to me. what profit is it to not know the truth of Gods word. what a waste to make Gods word say what we want it to say.
can certain doctrines send some to hell?

No doctrine or philosophy sends anyone to Hell. They go there on their own volition. The sentence has been passed, all that remains is the possibility of grace.

2. When they deny the nature and sufficiency of Christ's atonement.
3. When they deny the nature of man and his need for a savior.
I don't believe that not believing in Hell will necessarily send someone to Hell but you've got to ask yourself, if they're not going to believe Jesus and the Bible when they teach about Hell, what other teachings are they going to ignore?

Can certain doctrines send some to hell?
No. Doctrines don't send you to hell or get you to heaven. They determine how you behave in this world. Having a willing heart of submission to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior will get you to heaven and continuing with that willing heart will get you maturity. Holding certain doctrines such as the ones mentioned, indicate an unwilling heart but, whether that unwilling heart is lost or immature I don't know. -

These aren't doctrines, these are interpretations.
There are those who staunchly assert that the parables were literal real events. Whether they are or not is not an issue of salvation. Likewise, there are extreme literalists who assert that the earth does not revolve around the sun, and even the the earth is flat. While these might be extreme, they are not doctrinal issues, and don't affect one's salvation.
You're asking a 64 million dollar question, and I guarantee you'll get 64 million answers. Keep your eyes on Jesus, let the rest worry about itself.
What ultimately matters is that a person see Jesus as real, and accept his grace. The rest is fluff.

I just think people should be careful. Some people reach the point and think they can believe how they want and that there is not an ultimate truth. For instance, Mormons have been twisting scripture for years. They believe the Bible teaches there are multiple gods, multiple levels of salvation, etc. They take away from the Divine Nature of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There are many other spin-offs of Christianity these days.
