On the sheets that he passed out it said that he did not need to be cited and was not copywrite...I would love to get a hold of some of his other articles if anyone knows how to get them!
It doesn't matter. You can't quote someone else's work as your own.
That still is unethical and wrong.
You must give credit to everything you post.
You normally give reference to Scripture you quote don't you. :)
First, I don't know where you are quoting from. It is unethical to quote without giving your source. :)
If we are talking about the same thing I am referring to the same site that Awaken was originally accused of taking her material from.
But more importantly, copyrighted or not, one cannot post something and pretend it is their work, when it is not. I have many works, papers, etc., that are not copyrighted. That doesn't give me the right to copy their words as my own. I must give credit where credit is due. That is exactly what the Bible says.
Again, you are right! I should have given credit to the writer! But I did not get the paper from that sight! That sight got it from the same source or Root's website. Root's website did not have a copywrite...he wants us to share his material. Our teacher got permission from him personally. Now can we get back to discussing hearing from God!
That is not where I got the handout! That is their site that is copywrite...not Dave Root! Now can we discuss the OP or not?
Dave Root use to be all over the internet! He took his site down!
