There were several reports which stated that we would have been better off today without Obama's or Bush's stimulus package. This is further confirmation that merely boosting aggregate demand is a foolish policy. -

We would have been better off letting the firms fail, hiring all their former employees, and putting the money (used in bailouts) for infrastructure improvements.
Or just give the American public the cash per household. -
