So I go to amazon to find a decent pair of earbuds for the mp3 player.
I thought these had a reasonable price.
Let me know which ones y'all would buy or what you like.
*didn't know which forum to add this to, it'll probably turn cal/arm so maybe should've put it there! :tonofbricks:

Such a nice Christmas present you are sending me, my address is in a PMessage :)
I like that style that hang rather than the ones that stick into your ear like sound proofing plugs. As to quality, I see very little between the cheap and the higher price. -

Well since you ask, I always buy two, one for backup :)
Spose your wife would opt for diamond earrings instead?? -
Uh...ummmm...uh :tonofbricks::praying: -

... oh, well. I can't afford neither of 'em, since they'd be a "want" and not a "need." -

Maybe I will just run over to Target & buy a pair with my credit card......oh wait:laugh: -
I just showed my hubby (who has been an audio engineer in his past life and still works for Audio Technica and Steuder periodically updating software he's done for them - although it's been wireless mic systems and digital mixing consoles mostly) and he exclaimed "THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS?????" (then commenced to cough wildly because of being sick). I asked him if earbuds could ever be worth that much and he said "Nope." Then he began to explain why and he lost me. Let's just say that you need real headphones to get into any kind of sound quality that is worth that kind of money. :)
I always get the $7.99 ones to have on hand at church for the monitor system for the musicians. They work pretty well! -

For instance, one of my friends really wanted to get a pair of Dr Dre's Beats by Dre. He was looking to spend about $300 on a pair of high end headphones. I encouraged him not to buy the Beats because they are low quality headphones and instead pick up a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's because they were simply better.
If you're looking for a cheap pair of high fidelity earbuds, I'd recommend checking into Sony MDR-EX10LPs or Sennhesier 300B MK II ear buds.
With headphones you want to find something that has a good frequency response range (10 hz to 30,000 Mhz) and a higher impedence rating. The type of driver is also important. Anyways, the Sony's are amazing for the price and I have about 5 pair in different colors. Since I run everyday I need something that fits comfortably, can handle sweat and moisture, and are cheap enough to replace every 3 or 4 months. The Sony headphone are exactly what I need. Love them.
I've got an old pair of Sony MDR-600 studio headphones I used while doing AV support in a church where I interned. They're amazing.
Hope it helps. -
I had a pair of sennheiser cx150's but the microphonics was terrible then one of the earbuds lost most of its sound. I spent about 25.00 on those. When I first got those the sound was amazing. I heard things in music that I never noticed prior but for some reason they didn't last long. I ordered a pair of klipsch s4's so I hope they work well. I use them daily so hopefully these will make it for a while.
Funny thing. My wife says 'When you go to the basement will you haul out those old speakers of my Mom's and throw them out'? I said 'OK' then I got down there and noticed they looked nice and they were Klipsch 'Heresy' speakers, (never heard of them) so I googled them and found out they were very good speakers. I hooked those bad boys up to my system I listen to when working out. Wow. those things sound NICE! :tongue3:
I'll let you know how those Klipsch earbuds sound.
