Our forefathers built a "check and balance" theory into the government when they had three separate branches of government that would have different jobs and be able to cancel out wrongs done by one or the other.
In the past few decades, and more so in the past seven years, the administrative branch of the three branches has just about made the checks and balance protection system a laughing stock and void!
Until the other two, branches take themselves seriously and listen to the people of this country, the Legislative and Judicial branches will be nothing more than a rubber stamping of the president's wishes and desires, which the last few years have sadly demonstrated! :tear:
This is my view, and your opinions would be welcomed! :type:

1) First of all - the White House has been making all these Executive Orders....
2) Congressman - is it their job to vote as their constituents desire OR what is best for the United States -
The three branches of government made the system of checks and balances defunct in 1913 when they began working together to rob us of our wealth with a debt based monetary system and fiat currency.
