Does he? I ask because 3 churches now have dismissed my brothers issues with his homosexual wife as nothing to be concerned about….which resulted in her filing for divorce and her influencing their daughter to transition to a man. Now I have a she/he niece! Complete with a beard. That’s how well churchdisipline works apparently :Rolleyes
I wonder .... For all of those who say that homosexuality is the greater sin that must be preached to a congregation....how many of your congregations struggle with that sin?
None I’m aware of… one recently installed a bathroom dedicated to them! But had they addressed homosexuality head on than maybe my brother’s family would be together today.
I’m thinking that some of these pastors are closet homo’s so they either ignore or advise people to live their own closet lives. That’s what happened to my brother.
There are probably some in the congregation that struggle with it.. probably closet queers. I know that there are allot who are adulterers and I don’t hear much about that. Pedofiles are a problem as well… they are sneaky little perverts and they prey on the young ones. My sister in laws husband ( they are now divorced) was screwing the Eucharistic Minister in the RCC… body of Christ, amen
Where sin abounds grace abounds much more…and I’m constantly amazed by that. On another posted thread we are learning how a well known pastor is getting squishy and departing from our Lords teaching… what a perfect example of bowing down before the devil. But we have Christs example of conquest don't we now… “do not tempt the Lord thy God” … do not compromise your faith in God. In my humble opinion, that is what these guys on their pulpits should be preaching. Thanks for pointing that out.
Most of the time if you want to get a complete silence ask a pastor how he is teaching them to observe all Jesus commanded. One cannot teach someone to live the Christian life by instruction alone. It must be taught by instruction and demonstration. You can follow that up with 2 Timothy 2:2.
