It appears McCain wife isn't as staunch an anit-abortion advocate as Sarah.

I don't get the importance of Cindy Mccain's view on abortion.

So? Lots of people agree with Cindy's view and still consider themselves pro life. I agree with Palin and she is the one running for office not Cindy. Seems like a non story to me.

Reporters like Katie love to push that rape and incest angle. If a life is a life then the conditions of the conception are really a non issue.

Really, what is Cindy McCain running for? And why should I care the opinion of those not running for office?

The point is, she is married to McCain. My wife and tend to gravitate to each other's views and usually meet in the middle somewhere. I am wondering if he is of the same view as her on the two exceptions in question, since he has never said.(I better put in, that I have never heard him say. You know people are sticklers for words here.)

Do you really think that both candidates and both spuses's have perfect agreement on every single issue?

The anti-Palin folks are really digging deep for anything aren't they?

So the alarm bells now sound because the candidate's wife and the VP candidate aren't in agreement?

No thanks, I'll vote on issues...

No, I'm just wondering if he is of the same belief as Cindy on those two exceptions. Has he said?

You want to know his views on abortion, read his voting record. No secrets there.

From his voting record we know he is against abortion. The question is does this include pregnancies resulting from rape and/or incest? To some people this is an important issue. To others it is not an important issue.

To some, here on this board, abortion isn't important at all, thats why they are voting for a baby murderer.

That's a pretty weak point, to put it generously. Even if McCain did hold to two exceptions, he is world's better than Obama by any standard (except winsome public teleprompter reading). Which isn't saying much since Obama has set the bar pretty low. McCain is a dismally weak candidate who's only redeeming quality is that he is not Obama.

Lack of experience, lack of character, lack of judgment, lack of productivity, lack of morality, etc.

    Nothing.

    Nothing.

    Virtually everything.

Only one problem everyone she said her husband agrees with her

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE69ajamamo

    listen closely at :55

    Couric:Your husband does
Cindy: No, I don't think he does

for the record Couric clarified that Cindy McCain believes as Laura Bush believes that Roe v. Wade should not be overturned.

??? so this just raises the question , she clearly included her husband in the interview.

McCain's record speaks for itself here. These are the real facts.
