I guess in his eyes, lying to his son is a greater sin than what God refers to as an abomination :tear: :BangHead:
Clay Aiken has confirmed what I have thought all along...

Sin is sin; be it homosexuality or lying...and to say "God made me this way" is simply combining the two.
Another case of an alleged "christian" coming out, and i'm sure it will get lots of exposure. Sad, very sad. I feel sorry for him and his son. -

not disagreeing.

It is a continued reminder that judgment has already come. Such abominations are the indication that God has turned them over to reprobate mind.
And for the record..there are different degrees of sin. -
UM, Who is Clay Aiken, I am out of the loop

This in the story is sad: "The magazine cover features Aiken holding his son, born in August. Aiken, who considers himself a born-again Christian, said he knows he may turn off some fans — known as Claymates — with his admission and his decision to have a child outside traditional marriage"
That poor child. -
Clay Aiken is also from a Southern Baptist background:

This is no surprise. No straight man would duck the question if someone asked him if he were gay.
-
Nobody has ever asked me if I was gay.

Well, I walked right into that one didnt I?
RB, I am probably the most non-gay guy you could ever imagine.
I still dont understand how "born again Christian" and "gay" are used to describe oneself???????? Seems like a contradiction to me.

I'm Sorry but doesn't it say some where in this fourum that we arent to discuse a persons Sexuality?
-
If I broke the rules sorry, it was meant more as a tongue-in-cheek comment. Homosexuality is an abomination to God and a clear sign that someone has been turned over to a reprobate mind for rejecting God.
May the Lord in His mercy turn many from their sin to faith in Christ.

Honestly, I didnt take his question as seriously questioning my sexuality. I thought it was quite humorous and I am sure that is how he meant it.
I apologise for letting our attempt at humor offend you. I guess we all too often make fun of gays when we should be praying for them. Forgive me.

To say "God made me this way" is saying that God condones sin. I pity anyone who would accuse God of doing that. After propositioning me, a guy said, "I believe God accepts me just the way I am." No, God does not accept sin; he accepts sinners and then will change them. However, he meant that God accepted him as a bi-sexual male who preferred other males (he told me that), and he could be a Christian and not have to change. That's the false attitude of too many people. He had been married and had a daughter.

How did the word "gay" come to mean "homosexual", anyway? Didn't it used to mean "happy"?
