    Colossians 2.

    sabbath days, shadow, ordinances.

Not a single one of God's Ten Commandments is a shadow (yet feast sabbaths were typical, shadow), as all of it is Light, and never called ordinances (yet in the feasts with sabbaths were ordinances, washings, etc), but always God's Law.

Are you sinning in keeping the Sabbath? The apostles tell us not to. And Paul says if you keep ANY part of it, you fall from grace. Something to think about.

Jesus was under the TC when he said that. But now we are under the Two Great Commandments as believers of all time were.

    Nope. Circumcision Abrahamic

    John 7
22“For this reason Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man. 23“If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath so that the Law of Moses will not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made an entire man well on the Sabbath?

Its from the FATHERS. But a man has to recieve circumcision so he won't break the law of Moses. And Jesus Clearly pointing out he healed a man on the sabbath.

He is comparing his HEALING to the CIRCUMCISION. If they wanted to make the point that circumcision was just this law of Moses he wouldn't even have to mention sabbath.

The apostles specifically meant we are not to keep the 10Cs.

Only the parts the apostles imported into the NC. The Sabbath is omitted.

Paul said in that context, "fallen from grace", was seeking to be "justified by the law" ... which is not what either of us (myself and 3rdAngel) have said, and in fact, stated quite the opposite.

We are not justified by the law, and do not seek to be.

    We teach:

Isa_45:25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

You are keeping some of the law which means you must keep all of it. = fallen from grace.

No, it is attempting to keep without God's grace and without faith in His salvation (from sin, Matthew 1:21), to be justified not in Christ, but through the "law" (Torah). We do not teach that.

If the apostles tell you not to keep the Sabbath, which they did, are you sinning?

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

    Exodus 20:8-11 is such "law".

1Jn_3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

You are literally asking me, if keeping the Sabbath is sinning?

Brother 1689Dave, Jesus the perfect man, the example for Christians to follow (follow the Lamb), in whom was no sin, kept the Sabbath of the LORD.

Do you not hear the question you are asking?

You are teaching to transgress God's commandment is righteousness, and to keep God's commandment is sin.

Take a step back brother. Look.

We do not teach to be under the OC. We teach to be under the NC - Jeremiah 31:33.
